In July of 2016 my doctor told me that based on my lab results and being overweight, I had a 95% chance of having a heart attack. He said I had a choice: Either lose weight or find a new doctor because he didn’t want me dying on his watch.
With that sword hanging over my head I made a decision to shed my unwanted and unhealthy pounds. During the next four months, I lost 50 pounds, more than 25% of my total weight. I did in four months what I could have done the prior eight years. Now, I feel great and have more energy. I don’t need to take a nap in the afternoon.
